GOD'S CHILD

A child of God takes sick and
With tears we gather
And pray
For this healing.

Together alone
We kneel with the angels before
Love's cross,
Light a white candle,
Sigh.

What will be, we ask
The God of hope and stars,
Beyond mercy?
