This year,
Jesus stood at the altar and
Preached
The lesson for Good Friday.

Flames
Came from his lips and circled
The sanctuary and
Witnessing,
The children and the adults were
Transfixed.

It was a sight to behold.

I gathered the sparks
To my heart.
And held them close.
