RAIN IN A TIME OF VIRUS
There's rain in the desert,
A sudden abundance of rain sweeping away
(perhaps)
The Virus debris in its path.
For nearly a year now we have lived
Hidden away like lepers,
Longing to play.
I go out in the rain and laugh and
My little dogs follow,
Laughing too.
We are joyful, and
For the moment, we are
Restored.
