THE BEACH

Carefree

We ran embracing the wind and sea,

Breathing the salty air.

We were young and old back then,

The sun shining on us,

Kissing

Our silky bodies,

The fat and golden moon standing

Watch over our homes.

Easter morning he rose.

We gathered on the beach

Shivering

In the mist   in anticipation

And then he rose.

Dawn broke,

The blue green ocean sparkled,

And Christ rose.
